Save and reuse prompts in your Vyi asset library

Oct 28, 2026Vyi Team

Save a generation setup as a draft, find it in My assets, preview it and continue editing without losing your prompt.

A Vyi draft keeps a setup you want to revisit. It is useful when you are refining a prompt, waiting for a tool to become available, or preparing several ideas before generating.

Save a clear starting point

Open an image, video or audio workbench and enter your prompt. Choose the settings you want to keep, then select Save draft. Saving a draft stores the setup; it does not start a generation task.

Use a short opening phrase that identifies the idea. A description such as “amber bottle on a stone pedestal” is easier to find later than “test 3”.

Find the draft in My assets

Open My assets and choose Drafts. You can search by prompt or filename and sort the list. Generation history and Uploads are separate views, so a saved draft does not appear as a completed image or video.

Continue editing and review the result

Preview the draft to inspect its stored details. Choose Reuse prompt to return to the relevant workbench, then review the restored model and settings. Change any details before generating. Check the live service notice and displayed credit cost again, because availability can change.

Common questions

Does saving a draft spend generation credits?

Saving the setup does not submit a model task. The generation button displays the cost when you decide to generate.

Why is my draft not a downloadable image?

A draft contains instructions and settings. A completed generation is a separate item with any result files returned by the service.

What happens when I delete a draft?

It is removed from your library. Deleting a library item does not cancel an already running generation task; review the confirmation before deleting.

Keep the next edit easy

Save a useful Vyi prompt as a draft, give it recognizable wording and review its settings when you reopen it. Keep important source and result files on your own device as well.
